I had a list from a few people who said they might not be able to do their picks at the time. This way no one had to wait until someone came back from something. Ended up not needing them.

Part of the fun of the draft is doing the live picks. At the last minute changing your mind and grabbing that other cigar. Plus the picking was short compared to the wait to get everyone's cigars.
