    Default The Absolute Best...

Hey Guys....In your opinion what is the absolute best cigar on the market today?
    Excluding cubans........
I know Padron 64's and 26's and Opus X have been on the top of the list for awhile now, but in your opinion which do YOU think are the best?

Davidoff's are up there - for me, the Anniversario series are the best of the line...

    Ashton VSG's

    Avo Signatures

I also like the Cuesta Rey Stanford's Cameroon Reserves (They're especially great at $8 each)

i varies with mood, temp, what I’m doing, etc. but regularly I enjoy VSG, Perdomo esv's, anejo's, C10's, Dbl Ligero's (sp), and 64/26.

More and more I am trying thinner gauged cigars. As I've been told 50 to 60% of the flavor is in the wrapper it seemed like the way to go. Tonight I'm doing either a RASS or a VSG illusion. I'm leaning towards the RASS but I've never tried the illusion size and am especially interested in it.

Maybe I'll smoke the RASS on the way to the shop to buy the illusion. Now that's thinking for you!

Outside of the Opus, Padron, and Diamond Crowns...I think the Rocky Patel Vintage 90's are a VERY good cigar.

Looks like everyone likes Opus X. Gonna have to try one sometime. How much do they usually cost?

    Torano Exodus 1959, Virtuoso

    Ashton VSG, aged maduro

Cuesta Rey Stanford's no. 11, sungrown no. 9

I've decided I have not had enough Opus to understand its attraction. Or I am a cheap bastard one of the two. But I would buy a fiver of the double corona Torano over 1 Opus anyday. Please don't ban me.

Baron, there are a lot of people who don't enjoy Opus X. They have a unique flavor and are very strong. As far as value in the world of high end cigars they are priced very competitively. They have never had a price increase since they were first released in 1995.
