OK WW, I'd like you to get rid of the pic of the weed. Your user name, which refers to how sinsemilla (w/o seeds) is cultivated (getting rid of the male plants so as to encourage the remaining females [widows] to put their energies into resin/THC production rather than REproduction [seeds]) is pushing it. Many folks don't get it because they've not been a part of that culture.

But, putting a picture of a bud up here is going over the line. It begins to give the board a different feel, like mj use is tolerated by all. This may your life, but it's not everyone's, and certainly not that of those on this board. What we have in common here is CIGARS, not dope. There are those here I'm sure who smoke pot, and to each his own, whatever. But there are many (most) who don't (some here are in law enforcement).

I've smoked, sold, and grown a shitload of weed, years ago, and I respect your decision to do what you will with your life. But don't bring it here. You're trolling when you do.

So, don't be a fuckin' troll and bag the pic.

Thanks for bringing this out... I never knew any of that... And I deal with it on a fairly regular basis. More underground than I could ever imagine. Of course - I like to study cigars - not too interested in studying pot...

Having been in my game for over 25 years, though, you can imagine I've seen quite a few things. I'm sure to spark a debate, but one thing I know for sure from my perspective - pot is not as harmless as everyone makes it out to be.

This underground stuff really upsets me too. I hear these things and follow up on it - and sometimes I find out I SHOULD have known about it. An example - I recently received communication at the PD about kids using canned air from the office supply stores to get high. Apparently the contents are not as harmless as one would suspect. There is a gas in the cans that is heavier than air - it displaces the air when put into the lungs. So - literally - the kid is suffocating himself - which causes a head rush. The communication was from a drug enforcement officer whose own son was found dead in his room - with a can of the canned air in his hand. That's information parents should be aware of... So I'm having a conversation with my 16 yr old son about this - discussing my feelings on it - and he tells me he's known about that for a long time. He told me that's why a lot of office supply stores are now storing the canned air behind counters (it's stolen so much, they had to). My son knows it and I don't.... WTF...

Which stories would you like? The ruined lives, the people I've seen who've been locked up for a variety of issues because of their drug use? How about the families who are dealing with the addiction issues of their loved ones... Maybe you'd like to hear about the suicides, or the fortunes pissed away on drugs... The gang wars... Kicked out of schools, living at home for the rest of their lives sucking off of mommy and daddy because they have no desire to do anything else... Or my personal favorite - the ones who have no mind left, or psychotic issues after years of smoking the "safe" stuff... I'm sure there are success stories - but I've not seen 'em in my world...

But - I got plenty of stories for ya!!!

Whatever you do - DO NOT start any kind of debate on this board about that crap... I'm warning you in advance - you're gonna get a face full. You'll just lower your rep in my eyes... Take this debate to a pot board or political debate board - I'm sure you'll find willing participants...
