To all the BOTL who served, thank you.

    Better late than never.................

Happy Veterans (Rememberance) Day to all who have served, are presently serving, or plan on serving in the future.

My older brother is a Major in the Canadian armed forces. My younger brother, a full time police officer is also in the Reserves and has been all his adult life..........some 20 odd years. Both have served overseas.

My stepson is a US Marine who served a stint in Afghanistan from Sept 2010 to April 2011 and is presently stationed in Camp Pendelton.

My father-in-law is retired Air Force (20 years) and served in both Korea and Vietnam (2 tours). He's was also a Coast Guard auxiliary for 14 years and is still active as a photographer for the CG.

I have several friends in the US who are also Marines (retired).

To each every one of you, my heartfelt gratitude for all you've done, and continue to do.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
