Cigar bulge/split

Last night I was smoking a Leon Jimenes and about half an inch into it, there was a slight bulge, and the wrapper split on me. I did a search and found that it may be related to the cigar being packed too tight, but this cigar had a very loose draw. Could my humidor be too humid? I am waiting for my heartfelt beads, and digital hydrometer. The macanudo that I smoked earlier in the night was fine, no problems and it was in the same humidor. Any suggestions?

Sounds like high humidity to me.

hmmm...Thanks, I guess I'll have to wait a few days for the heartfelt beads to come in. Am I going to cause any problems leaving it as is until the end of the week?
