Default labmonkey goes to the Big Apple

Well it has been a hell of a week. I got a new job...a great job that pays more and is something I have been wanting to get into....networking!!!! WOO HOOO!

As it turns out i have week to blow between the start of my new gig and the end of my old one, so the wife and I are heading to NYC for 3 days to visit a buddy of mine.

It's my first trip to the Big Apple....CAN'T WAIT!

Anyone have some "must-see's" or "must do's" while I'm there?

Ground Zero , it's been cleaned up , a BIG hole in the city now , I was awstruck by the size of it and then there's the emotional part of it too . Also , if you're a baseball fan , I believe you can take a tour of Yankee Stadium . Great old stadium with lots of character and charm . Enjoy your trip and the new gig .

The best experince I have had in the "Greatest city in the World" have revoled around just expolring. I stayed at a friends place on Broadway and everynight we just walked the city and found a new restuarant or museum or bar/club. There are so many things to do I reccomend that you try this at least once. Wish I was there.
