Default Question on Opus X Double Corona

OK, I was just wondering something. Of all the local shops here in town only one has any Opus X, and they are charging $19.50 for a Double Corona. I thought that last I saw the MSRP was around $14 for these. What does everyone else pay for these?

I pay around msrp,if they are buying them second hand and are not a fuente acount then they are not gouging IMHO. If they have a fuente acount and are charging over msrp then they are gouging and fuente does not condone that as far as I know,. IMHO that is too much for an opus but if you really want one I say go for it or ask a BOTL here if they will sell you 1 .if I had any in that size I would sell you one .

    $14ish here in Jersey.
A store up north jersey by a friends house keeps opusX in stock on a regular.Apparantly he is the godson of one of the senior Fuente's.He has quite a variety of OpusX's.

14.50 is MSRP for the Opus DC. If you figure in tobacco tax then 19.50 might be right at MSRP depending on which state you live in.

This is the only place that has any. And the others say they will not be getting anymore for a while. Why does it take so long for places to get these? I know everyone wants them, but do they only make a limited number of them a year?

yeah, limited number and released in the fall.

If you have always wanted to try one and it's 6 bucks over msrp go ahead and try it. Yeah your getting ripped-off a bit but think back over your life on all the stuff you have wasted 6 bucks on, and then reconsider if you really want to try an opus x. Most likely you'll say wtf and buy one.
