International mail is different from priority. You have to fill out customs forms at a main P.O branch. Make sure you declare a low value so he doesn't pay taxes on it. $10 - 15 works best. Say it's a "handmade gift" or "wedding video" or "art supplies."Originally Posted by slcraiders
Like said above Priority is domestic only. Express is international but is usually very expensive. Parcel Post is usually the best route, takes two weeks or so to get there though.
I believe they have Global Priority now . Price didn't seem to bad to Canada , last time I saw it .
Yeah, Global Priority is the best.
Prices depend on location in Canada. Buts it usually not that bad.
Around 10-12 bucks roughly.

Just to add a bit... In the last week I have had 5 packages shipped from the states. The ones shipped airmail, all took over 2 weeks. The ones that were shipped GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL all made it here in under a week. From the postage prices, it is not very much more expensive (one or 2 dollars more). I would reccomend this for anybody shipping to Canada. And the 2 cigar packages that I recieved were all declared a value of 10 dollars and said collectible gift, or promotional merchandies. Absolutely no issues with customs.
