Well this'd be my first review ever, so here goes...

After dinner, I had a hankering for a Griffin's...

This is an incredibly well constructed cigar. B/c of the bloody wind, it was lit pretty uneven, but after about 1/2 an inch, completely evened itself out. The draw was incredibly smooth - (and not to be eloquent) like silk. I was trying to figure out what it tastes like and the best that I can put it is a watered-down latte - but not a bad one. Just an incredibly mild cigar. And it was consistent with that up until the last third, where it got almost the hint of butter & a little toasty. There was no "bam!", just a wonderful, consistent, smoke. The finish, even about half an hour later, tastes like honey sweet with almost a sugary aftertaste. I'd almost call this a dessert cigar.

Never noticed this before (not that I paid attention) was that what little veins were in the wrapper showed up in the same lines in the ash (which was salt & pepper). Ash held on for I'd say 1.5 inches before my wife yelled at me to ash it in the tray.

Definitely a lightweight, but a damn pleasant one.
