    Default Humidor / Cigar Combo

OK, help me out here please. I've been scanning lots of links I got off CS for prices and info on humidors. I saw this at Thompson Cigars and it seems almost too good to be true:

Now, a 125 ct box seems to me to be a good starter size, and I know that's a matter of opinion. Has anyone tried any of the 75 cigars that come with this combo?? The are all made with Dominican tobacco (I think one type has a different wrapper) and they're all mild to medium, basically exactly what I'm looking for as starter smokes.

I mean, let's face it, the right person can describe the taste of burnt steak and make it sound good, so I'd like some opinions from the experts on these sticks.

Thanks in advance for your replies

So I bought a humidor with a front mounted hygrometer. The hygrometer is crap. The whole in the front of the humidor for it is 2 3/4". My question is if I bought this bad boy: http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigars/s....cfm/inum/7133 , would I be able to just put that in for the old one or is this hygrometer specifically fit for this humidor? The one I have now looks just like this one: http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigars/s...cfm/inum/14575 except the numbers don't wrap around as far. The font is the same though.

Should fit, np. The 19.95 one is nice, made in France. That's what you want. My local store sells ones from france to replace the ones that most his humidors come with. And they just slide right in place of the old one.

    NH:

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. The shops may be trying to get rid of some crappy sticks to unsuspecting Noobs like me. I owe you a couple once I get my set-up complete.

I'm going to the 5 or 6 cigar stores in Windsor tomorrow pricing some stuff to compare to the on-line stores and see what's the better way to go. The Humi shouldn't be an issue to get across the border through Customs, but I may have to get inventive with the smokes. Drew tells me many of the cigars you guys buy in the States aren't readily available on this side, so I may have to go State-side.
