Default Pics of the humidor I bought recently...

Hey everyone. I thought I might share a couple of the pics of my humidor. It's that OldWorld style so prevalent on EBay. I really like it so far, though as I mentioned in an earlier post, I would have done things a little different. Here are the links.

You know....I wa more concerned about the seal of my new humidor than anything. I have to be honest with you...This humidor actually has such a good seal, that it literally whooshes as you close it. If you drop it from a few inches up, a cushion of air keeps the heavy lid from slamming down!

Also, I have had it at 70 % humidity for 3 days so far with the cigars, and it held that humidity for a week before that....and I'm not a patient person either.

By the way. That brings up another interesting thing I wanted to mention. I wanted to try a technique that I read somewhere. I boiled purified water and put a small container of it into the humidor for just long enough to raise the humidity to about 85 %, and then I took the container out. I did this a few times over a couple of days. The whole time I was using the seasoning pack from Boveda as well as a cheesy rectangular humidifier...the one you saw in the pics.

    Well, I ramble to much.
