    Default Can't Play Video Now

Ok so all of the sudden I can't play any videos in Media Player. Audio works fine. If I open a video, it doesn't start playing, and as soon as I click anywhere I get the Not Responding crap. I don't have any viruses and I even got the new version of Media Player and it still does the same thing. Anyone know what the eff is going on?

Already did that and it did nothing. I have also reinstalled, all my codecs, restored my computer, and everything else I can think of.

No that is what's weird, it just suddenly started doing this.

Oh yeah and when I got to looking around my computer, about 25% of my videos do play. The only thing I can see is that when it is a "movie clip" it almost always plays, but when it is a "video clip" or a "windows media clip" it may or may not play, usually not. I think it is mostly avi files that are screwing up.

Maybe give up and try Real Media or Quicktime?

I run into the same problem regardless of which program is used.

Norton 2006. I also just tried defragging my drives and that didn't do anything either.

Just got it to work again. All it took was reinstalling my operating system.
