I must admit I know little about "wrappers, binders, fillers" etc. as bigpoppapuff mentioned... what would you guys suggest would be a good way to learn more. I have seen some nice looking cigar related books. Any suggestions?

I'm also relatively new to cigars. I use the journal, but also have trouble keeping the MANY different cigars straight. I bought Avery labels, #8163 I think, and use Label Maker Plus to record exactly what the stick is. I record the Mfr, date of purchase, price, ring and length, shape, and anything else I can cram into 1/2" by 2" label. I tried to maintain an inventory for a short time, but that got to be a bit too anal.

For the nekkid sticks, I use blank bands sent me by a Brother - they don't adhere to the cigar. (By the way, I'll do the group buy if you'll turn me on to the source )
