You will need to season the humidor. There's no telling how long it would take the credo to bring it up to 65-70% humidity. You will also want to look into getting some silica beads to replace that credo. Do a search on "beads" in this forum. The search function is your friend, use it wisely.

I'm not sure; I wasn't aware when I signed up for but apparently the maturity level on this forum is quite high, case in point-clarification of previous comments along with my simple observation of the response as "dismissive" (which it was) was the wrong thing to do and warranted vulgar name calling; this guy seems FURIOUS. I sincerely apologize to anybody who was offended by my follow up, I was simply clarifying what I said earlier. For the record the humidor was only out of commission for 3 months so it seemed odd that it needed to be re-seasoned. Please, I beg all you-forgive me for being such an incompetent

Three months of neglect could easily result in you having to re-season your humidor.
