Default Oh boy, I've done it now!

Well... I've gone and done it now.. This weekend I went out and bought a 175 cigar capacity humidor since the one my wife bought me just this last Christmas is pretty much full. Of course, she was a bit upset in the manner of women where she perceives that her gift wasn't good enough.... of course that isn't true as I'm sure you will all agree.. as you get into it all sometimes you just need more space. Still, I put in an order for some more beads and tubes, and have seasoned it.. all ready to go!

Congrats! I know how sweet it feels to get all that extra space. Now, you have a new problem, how to fill it up so you need MORE space!

Monk, I don't know how long you've been married, but here's a piece of advice from someone with 27 years experience (with the same woman):

You have to tell her that her gift introduced you to an awesome hobby and that the one you bought is just a cheapo for every day smokes. Also, tell her the original one she got you is much better than the new one, and you'll be using "hers" for your special celebration smokes because they require the special care your first one gives.

How's that for some serious Canadian ass-kissin!

Haha that is priceless I think I'm going to need Newfie to write out all my apologies to my fiance who is dead set against my new found hobby. So I doubt I'll be able to use that butt kissing with her, seeing has how she would rather vomit out of both ends than buy me a 100+ capacity humi.
"...How oft it happens when one's smoking,
The tamper's missing from it's shelf,
And one goes with one's finger poking
Into the bowl and burns oneself.
If in the pipe such pain doth dwell
How hot must be the pains of Hell!

Thus o'er my pipe in contemplation
Of such things - I can constantly
    Indulge in fruitful meditation,
    And so, puffing contentedly,
On land, at sea, at home, abroad,
I smoke my pipe and worship God."

Hahaha, thanks for the advice Newfie

I have been going along those lines as it is saying the new one is really just for "storage". The one she got me is really cool and fits into the "display" corner where all my smoke stuff is as well as some old books, my pocket watch, old globe etc. are.

Yeah having all this space is sweet, so now I'm looking to get some boxes to put in it rather than just single smokes

I like newfie's advice. And let me tell you, I'm at that predicament myself. And here's how I've been hinting it... that the box she gave me was great (and it truly truly is) and how much I'm enjoying my hobby and the joy that the box has brought me so that I need another one. (i.e. it was her that brought me to this joy, now i'm just building on her initial effort).
Look at that... I plumb got myself 5 raisins and 7 termites.
