Thread: Any Reported Problems with LaGloria Cubanas?

  1. Question Any Reported Problems with LaGloria Cubanas?

My first post here.... to check something out. I typically purchase a number of different brands, rather than a full box at a time. I've got my preferences (Davidoff - almost any of them), but frequently smoke cigars that are priced a bit lower.

I've had great experiences in the past with the LaGlorias, but bought several at a shop in Austin, TX recently and found that they lit poorly, and burned very unevenly....to the point where I couldn't drive and smoke one at the same time. It seemed like 1/2 of the circumference of the cigar burned, while the other failed to burn (as though the tobacco was wet and clumped together). Has anyone had similar experiences? Is there something that might cause such a problem? My moisture source in my humidor is NOT in direct contact with the cigars, so that's not likely the problem.....

Anyway, any help/guidance would be appreciated!

How long did you have them in your humi before you lit them up? A lot of B&Ms keep their smokes at a really high RH and you need to let them rest in your humi for up to a month at the proper RH for them to burn nicely.
