I've been given a couple of these. Some folks swear by them as a cheap daily smoke. I just can't get into them at all. The suckers are veiny like a body builder. They're smokable, with a subtle sweet taste and mild body, but seem to always get a nasty bitterness and harshness. I havn't smoked past the halfway mark yet on a single one! Stay away from these IMHO. Plenty of other cheapies that taste better. Regardless of price, it's a waste of time. I have one left I've been gifted. A tubed cigar. If that one's bad too, I'm giving up on them completely.

Good review, matches a lot of what I have heard about them. I've also heard they taste "grassy" or "like grass".

I'll have to second that!! I was gifted 3 of these, the Nicaraugan blend, by one of my local b/m's......he said that these guys were really getting their act together and producing some much better smokes now. I'm afraid I'll have to call bullshit on that......all three of these were just, well, horrible.....bitter, off flavors, loose draw, and just butt-ass ugly sticks. Now I'm trying to figure out how I pissed the guy off and made him force these on me.

Definitely skip these, even for free, imho!
