    Default Parodis?

I tried a Parodi King recently. Considering that they are $4 for a five pack, hmm, not too bad. It's "All Tobacco" for whatever that is worth. I've been smoking the rest of the pack an considering whether I want to carry some in my bag. Since they are dry cured they may make a great "Oh shit I ran out of cigars" smoke.

My father used to smoke Parodis, So I gave them a shot. Right out the window at about three drags. YUCK!!!!!

You must smoke some really strong cigars to use these in a pinch.

I do, live LFD double ligeros and La Joya de Nicarauga Antonas, so strong cigars don't faze me.

My Poppy, god bless his soul, used to smoke those cigars. He was an old Italian that loved his J&B scotch and
Parodis! (The white would not show up)

I wanted to like these (and the nearly identical De Nobili) so badly. They look like they came straight out of A Fistful of Dollars and taste like they're the reason Clint Eastwood always has a scowl. They're dark and earthy and definitely a manly smoke if ever there was one. I might have actually liked them, but I haven't been able to get anything resembling a draw from any of them.
For my money, I'll be going with Erin Go Bragh and Alta Gracia cigarillos when I need a quick smoke. They have a real tobacco flavor and a nice draw. Even the flavored ones are so lightly flavored as to only compliment the tobacco taste rather than hide it, just like I like my aromatic pipe tobaccos, and most times I didn't notice it at all.

I always liked the look of Clint (in whatever character) with one of those slim cigars hanging out of his mouth. I found some that are small and tasty and I love to puff on them while at the range.........especially when shooting handguns........LOL

If you're looking for a small cigar that's actually decent check out Meharis

I always have a box or two of De Nobili hanging around.
