Thread: Hello, just introducing myself.

    Default Hello, just introducing myself.

Hello, just introducing myself. I'm Tully. I've been lurking here for a while taking in as much information as I can, you guys (and girls) have been a big help even if you don't know it.

I've enjoyed good cigars (and even very bad ones when I was an immature student...but hey, we make mistakes) since my Dad and his friends let me puff a little of his Cohiba when I was 15. This enjoyment of Cigars started and ended with their smoking. I know this is really all that said enjoyment needs to be based on, but, as I'm sure you all know, the mystique and allure of the entire ritual of cigars plants a seed in your mind and heart after this first puff. Recently this seed of intrigue has grown in me and I've been doing as much research as possible into the blue smoke (along with smoking my fair share of stogies).

Long story short, I eventually ended up here, so...Hey dudes .

    Default Good Intro

Like Basil said, poetic intro. Welcome and I hope to get to know you more from your posts. What kind of cigars do you find yourself liking? How long have been smoking regularly? Where/when do you smoke? Sorry about the interrogation, but I've been curious lately of what others like to smoke and where/when. I don't mean to run your inaugural post off in a different direction though. So with that being said, welcome.

Hey all, thanks for the welcome and kind words!

    To answer some questions:

I started smoking regularly about 3 months ago.

I enjoy a huge variety of smokes so far, maybe because of my underdeveloped pallet. I enjoy it though, it's more of an adventure exploring so many different flavors, shapes, sizes, and even cuts (I usually straight-cut, but sometimes a punch or V cut).

I usually smoke on my porch, sometimes I'll enjoy a book, but I often will only finish a page or two because I get distracted trying to dig through the layers of flavor in my current cigar. Lately, I kick back in my usual spot, just me and my cigar, and enjoy watching my life float away on my own personal cloud.

Awesome set up, I have a hard time focusing on anything(A.D.D. maybe?), other then the cigar too. I love trying to distingues the different tasts & flavors. I'm still at a point of trying to figure out my favorite smokes too, that is one of my favorite things about cigars, changing pallets and introduction to new smokes.
