Default Generosity and being a BOTL

I have always considered myself a gererous person, but since I joined this site, it's brought my understanding of the term to a whole new level.

    Cases in point:

I've been lucky with winning a couple of contests so far, and the contents of these packages have been really generous, not even considering the fact that at times, these are just Brothers making room in their storages.

Last week I received my Newbie Sampler package from a BOTL and the only word I can use to describe the contents is "astounding". This was a package full of Class "A" smokes that increased my yearning to someday be able to have a collection where I could pass on a comprable generosity to another Newbie.

Just today I got a package that contained the fruits of 2 box splits (one 2 way and one 3 way) along with a 3-stick sampler split between the three of us. The Canadian Brother who set up the Canadian end of both splits put in a "little" gift. (Picture below.) I know oft' times these "hitch-hikers" aren't mentioned in any posts, so please forgive me if I'm breaking an unwritten rule here by bringing this up publicly. Many posts here contain wording to the effect of "Just because someone gifts you generously, you should not feel required to a higher level of retribution".

Well guys (and you know who you are, all I can say (and I've said it before):

Might be next month, maybe next winter, might even be next year, but you MOFO's got yours coming!!!!!!!!

Sorry for being ignorant, but does BOTL stand for Brother of the Leaf?

Exactly, and no, that isn't being ignorant.

And to answer the actual question, yeah that is what it stands for .

Nice post Newfie... I hope one day the Newbie Sampler thread revives so I can give it a go, looks like it really gives you a wide range of new smokes to experience.
