There are two large evils in today radio, ClearChannel and Infinity. They own a large majority of stations across the country. Luckily CC, I work at a small 1000 watt AM station in a fairly small town, so we would not be on thier radar. We play adult-contemp hits from the 50's to the mid-late 80's. Lots of artists have made records over the past few years that are classic standards.(Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, Merle Haggard) They get alot of play here. Quite a nice rotation if I do say so myself.
