Ashton VSG box codes - are there any?

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a box code, specifically a date of production, on the Ashton VSG box. A local shop as two boxes of Ashton VSG robusto's, one of which is in the exact same type box as all the other sizes made in a med-gold color, the other is in a box made from a lighter color wood and is slightly larger in all directions than the other robusto box. I looked around the box but nothing caught my eye to tell me the age.

If there isn't a date do any of you remember if they changed boxes and about when?

Never saw anything about Fuente date codes or if they even use them. I would be more interested about the shade of the wrapper. Around here in Charlotte NC we have gotten some awful pale and shitty looking VSG's lately. ASo pale and shitty I have passed on all of them. I dont get it though ,al of the fuente sungrowns have awesome dark and pretty wrappers on them . IMHO
