    Smile New Member Intro

Just want to say Hi to everyone and introduce myself.

I live in NYC and I am turning 30 in a month

I first strated playing around with cigars about 8 years ago. Mostly flavored at that point. I remember Oliveros had some nice ones. So for a while it was an on and off kind of a thing.

Then 2 years ago I visited a friend of mine who as it turned out was an avid cigar smoker judging by his humidor. Over the weekend we smoked a Montecristo and RYJ and he did his best to explain the natural flavors that these cigars had. To be honest I was quite amazed and from that point my hobby was slowly turning into a real passion.

After I went to CIgarMania last September I knew cigars will be a part of my life. I read a lot about the subject and sampled quite a lot of different brands. Unfortunatelly no Cuban's yet due to the obvious, and I am positive hated by many, position of US o this topic.

I am really happy that I found a place that cigar lovers can meet as a community and I really look forward to being a part of this forum.

By the way if anyone is aware of any cigar clubs or events that happen in NYC I will be greatfull for your input. ( I hope these events are more of the social rather than status $$$$$$$$ kind, to be honest I don't own a Ferrari and can't spend $100 a shot on the best Scotch as Cigar Aficianado has us believe everyone should do)

    Default Thanks

Thanks for the good comments. A little late though.
My wife Michelle runs the store. There is a great staff there and they have the goods. I just work on the website and am not in the store. Check out all the pictures of customers and servicemen and women around the world. Very cool.
    Thanks
    Bruce

Wow, bit of thread necromancy going on here, but at some pretty good timing. Looks like we're only a few days away from Dan's one year!
