I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank Cigarsarge for his recent generosity to this noob (200+ posts and still a noob).
Anyway, about a month ago, Sarge was cleaning out some room in the humi and offered up some sampler packs. I jumped on it but asked him if he wouldn't mind waiting to send them off since I was in the process of moving. His reply was, of course, "no problem, lemme know when to shoot them your way." I got another message a few days later letting me know he had a nice sampler bagged up with my name on it.
Well, a few weeks pass, and as I'm moving into my new house, disaster strikes. I had planned on leaving my humidor behind in the old house for a few days where I knew it would be safe and wouldn't get bumped and bruised during the move, but a friend helping me move saw it sitting there and packed it into the back of my van.
Four hot days later, I got around to unpacking the van...and my humidor had turned into a science project.
To make a terribly long story a bit shorter, I PM'd sarge and asked him to hold off a bit longer so I could set up a coolerdor since the humi went to the garbage. And once again the sarge obliged.
When I finally gave the green light, Sarge sent a package along and apparently that baggy with my name on it gave birth to another baggy while in transit and somehow a little sampler became a HUGE package.
I know Sarge will never admit it, but I think he saw a brother who was a bit inexperienced and a bit embarassed, and lent a helping hand.
Just thought the board should know what a generous and good member we have in our ranks.
Kudos.
