Evening all,

I am at the tail end of a fantastic weekend and wanted to draw upon the knowledge of some of our more veteran members.

Saturday morning I sat for and passed part two of the CMA exam, like the CPA but for corporate accountants instead of auditors, so I wanted to reward myself. I sorted through my humidor, which is at this point a grab bag of the various smokes I got at Cigarfest.

As I've worked my way through the first 15 or so sticks I've been trying to read reviews on each cigar after I smoke it to try and educate my palette and to understand the difference between a good smoke and a great smoke (any moron can tell the difference a bad smoke and a good one). From what I've worked through I've been able to pick up the "better" cigars (RP Vintage '92, Vibe Corojo, CT Signature), but have yet to really find a cigar that stood head and shoulders above the rest.

Well...Saturday I found my first. I smoked a Perdomo Reserve Camaroon (mini corona I think) and was absolutely floored. The smoke was very complex, moving from spicy and strong, to a move medium bodied rich, and then back to a fuller finish. The burn was perfect as was the draw, and to be perfectly frank I could not find anything less than superior about the cigar other than the fact that it wasn't a churchill.

Ah, and now to the point...am I on target? I wanted to poll the community and see what their impressions are on this smoke, where it stands quality-wise, and last, I would like some recommendations on similar cigars.

Thanks for the time guys.
