    Default Distilled Water

Just bought a gallon of distilled water to charge up the humi. It came in a same gallon container as the regular spring water. Can I store it for the next time I will need it or will it loose its properties due to oxygenation and perhaps heat during the summer.

Nope! Distilled water is just ultra purified. The dissolved minerals are removed. Those are what you're worried about, not dissolved gases. Though it's possible that the water could become contaminated with bacteria, algae, or fungi spores, it's pretty unlikely. There's nothing else in the water to support life.

I have had the same gallon jug for a year or a little more and it seems fine. I keep it under the sink in the bathroom so it is dark and cool. No problems.

The only plausible scenario is that minute amounts of petro byproducts from the plastic bottle could become introduced into the water especially when the bottle is heated up or has been in your cabinet for approx. 5 years. Hence why most people recommend replacing emergency water after a few years but obviously you will use all of it way before then so you are fine.
