    Hey Shelby07,

Did your humidor show up yet? Mine did today. Unfortunately it was damaged. Looks like UPS decided to drop it off the truck, and it smashed in one corner of the top.
Did you get the impression that this humidor was solid wood construction? I thought from the description that it was, but it looks like MDF under a thin veneer. I'm going to call in the morning and get to the bottom of this.

My humidor is shipped and scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Looking at the picture, I figured it might have had a veneer finish. It did say it was spanish cedar lined. I guess for what I paid for it I wasn't really expecting solid wood either. Can't even buy an end table for that. I'll look it over closely.

I wasn't expecting it to be solid mahogany, but I was expecting solid wood with a mahogany finish as per item description...
Step back and take a look at one of the most beautiful humidors made. Our cabinet humidor features the best hardware, the most intricate details, and enough room for tons of cigars.

This humidor is really amazing. The crotched mahagony is just breathtaking. Plus it features solid wood construction, a drawer on metal guides for more storage, interior electrical outlet, shelves, spanish cedar lining. What more could you ask for.
I don't know, I'm mostly pissed about the damage, but the description isn't accurate either. I mean MDF is not solid wood, no matter how you dress it up.

You're right. It's been so long since I read the description I had forgotten. Do you plan on keeping it? If you are going to call him today please let me know what he says. Thanks, and I'm really sorry your humi got crunched. We waited a long time for them.

He said that they didn't claim "solid wood", but "solid wood construction". I asked for a refund, which he offered without hesitation, mostly due to the misleading ad.

I'll keep you posted on the ease/difficulty of the rest of the process.

Now I have to start searching for a suitable replacement.
