Any way for us mere mortals to attend RTDA ? If not is there a similar convention for people who are not dealers ? Something like the Car show perhaps ?![]()

no and no.....mere mortals, though, can go to the big smoke's,etc,etc.....
if you are friendly with a retailer and he has an extra ticket you can go....
LMAO.... if you get tickets, let me know... I'll go with ya.....
I went to this 2 years in a row,,,,, not too bad IMO

$75.... walked away with a shit load of cigars, a small humidor and met some great people
I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"
Damn I would go to the RTDA just for fun I love learning new things ( got my MBA just cause I love new information ) and I think there is no better way than the conventions. All the new products, hear the cigarmakers tell ther stories, I am sure there are cigars just like CSB that one might only learn about at the convention. Hell I might even fill out an application and pay the membership fee just to go![]()
And these BigSmokes are pretty awesome too. Cigarfest is done and I did not know about it but this one is coming up
http://www.meadowlandsmadness.com/
and in October or so there will be CigarMania by Cigar Magazine
If there are people who will go to either one I will join![]()
Hmm, I may be on my way down to DC that week... Maybe I'll have to stop in...Originally Posted by CgarDan
