Default Punch cigars, what am I not getting??

I've had 5 or 6 of these in different blends and shapes, and I haven't enjoyed one yet. While the smoke starts with a decent flavour, there's very little smoke, and a VERY tight draw, more so than an ISOM. I haven't finished one yet.

Am I doing something wrong?? WTF??

I've found that I really enjoy the Rare Corojos and Gran Puros. One of the reasons I do enjoy them is because of the lack of billowy smoke (perfect for smoking in my garage while I play darts). I think the draw issues come from filler being packed in there (Punch's always feel heavy to me).

I find that the best Punchs are the Magnum and Rothchild sizes. Try a Rare Corojo and see what you think.

Had a Rare Corojo this weekend. Good cigar had a nice transition 1/3 of the way up. The last third however was better left unsmoked IMO. I am a punch fan for a cheap smoker though.

Its kinda hard to smoke a cigar....wrong *L* About the only thing a person can do wrong is to keep smoking cigars they don't like.

Put Punch on your B list and move on to another cigar. Theres plenty out there.

PS-I personally love a Punch now and then

I tried about 20-30 Punch cigars when I first started smoking. The only one I like at all was the Punch Champion. The others didn't appeal to me at all; worse, they seemed to have more draw and construction issues than the average cigar line, and worst of all, one of them made me sick as a dog, and I can only assume that it had green tobacco in it, which will make anyone sick. It is the only cigar that has ever made me sick.

Thus, I do not have a high opinion of Punch cigars, except the Champion which I still smoke sometimes but not often.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

I have had same exp with Punch Punch, and Coronation A/T. I finished them though, but very hard draw, and very little smoke. These were some of my first cigars, and I thought I was doing something wrong....
Cigar change, and all is well
