    Default Graduation Smoke

So I finally graduate from college in just under 2 months - August 11th, 2:00 PM. Since I don't know anyone to smoke with in real life, I was thinking anyone here who was interested could do so.

The idea here is we will all get the same cigar and smoke it at the same time wherever we are, and "virtually" celebrate my graduation together.

I don't know if anyone will even be interested in this, so I haven't really thought out all of the details, so I am open to suggetions.

So here is my idea so far:
First we figure out who will participate. Then we decide what we are going to smoke. Next we iron out the details on obtaining the smokes, and distribute them before the big day. Lastly, we decide on what time of day the "herf" will go down, and have at it. Maybe even take some pictures for an extra touch.

Hopefully at least a couple of people will want to do this, because I think it will be cool.

Here is who is in so far:
    1) WhiteWidow - N/A
    2) thepyrofish - 0305 2710 0001 5230 1402

So if everybody agrees I'm going to assume that no one else is going to want to do this. In that case I guess we should start thinking about what our cigar selection is going to be. Since its going to get suggested at some point anyway, I'm going to go ahead and throw the Paddy 26 out there. On a personal note, however, I would like to see us pick something a little more original.

oh yeah and if anyone does still want to sign up it is not too late

I must have missed this. I am definately in if you will have a Canadian BOTL. The '26 sounds great....if you want to get creative, how about an ISOM of some sort?

Maybe an Opus or Anejo or something like that.

    How about a GoF?

    Just throwing out some ideas.

drew_goring is going to get us some pricing information, but we're estimating it to be about $20 each, which would include S&H. drew has also volunteered to do the ordering here, so when the time comes we will need to all send our bucks his way.

drew, just post here when you have new information, and you can go about collecting funds whenever you are ready.

Ok...so it looks like there are 10 people in. I am placing an order for 12 sticks in case of any late comers. If not I guess they will be up for grabs for whomever wants them.

The specific box-code that I am ordering from is: RPO JUN 01

This specific vendor has a special on and they are offering singles for the same price as the box.

I am going to place the order tonight and will let all of you know the total cost shipped as soon as I can. I would prefer poopal, but if anybody can not make that happen, let me know and I am sure we can work something out.

The total should be around 20ish dollars shipped for a single Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No 1

Ok guys..the order has been placed and should be landing within the next 3-4 days.

The total comes to: 12US/stick+($15 shipping/12 sticks)+4.05 domestic shipping (assumed...shipping may vary slightly)+(.30+2.9%Poopal rape fee)

=17.65US. I would prefer CAD (use www.xe.com for conversion)

Seeing as nobody PMd me, please Poopal cash to: drew_goring@hotmail.com

    I will start a paid/not paid list:

    1) WhiteWidow -Paid
    2) thepyrofish - Paid
    3) Dickson - Paid
    4) Buddha
    5) kirkus949 -Paid
    6) godfather
    7) prophetic_joe - Paid
    8) CgarDan - Paid
    9) drew_goring - Paid
    10)BassFever -Paid
    11)Locard - Paid

Although there are only 10 people on the list, I purchased 12 in case somebody else wants to join. If anybody wants an extra to 2, please PM me and I will add it to your total.

edit: Please don't mention anything about cigars/tobacco or anything like that. Poopal has a habit of freezing people's accounts.

    Thanks again

Sounds good drew. Can't wait till these things get here. I've only got addresses from a few of you guys, so if you haven't sent it to me make sure you do so in the next couple of days, and I can start sending them out asap.

Also props to drew for being such a big help with this.

Everything has been mailed out, and the DC #'s are posted! You guys let me know when everything gets there safely.

Drew, apparently I can't do DC to you or Locard. They said even if I tracked it, it stops at the border anyway. I figure worse case scenario, it gets sent back to me and we can try again.
