    Default Hello all

    Hello everyone.
    I have recently fell in love with cigars, and I have only had a few. The only cigars that I have smoked are 2 La Gloria Cubanas, a La Floridita Premium, and 2 Principes. No nice ones, just some I got from a friend. And I don't have a humidor yet, and I am planning on getting one soon. Just I don't know exactly what all to get and what type of cigars to get. I will just try different ones from time to time to see which ones I will stick with. Well I just thought I will introduce myself becuase I am planning on really getting into cigars.

    Well I have one question, and I don't wanna look stupid, but I gotta learn somehow. What does ISOM mean? I haven't seen it before until in here. Also what cigars do you recommend?

    Island South Of Miami = communist country in the caribbean

    la floridita's are mmmm....i'm surprised that you liked it...if only because of its strength...principe's are a very inexpensive machine made cigar...made by the same people that make leon jimenes and la aurora,the oldest factory in the D.R......LGC's,imho,are not as good as they were when ernesto owned the brand....


    keep your ears and eyes open....learn the subtle differences between cigars from the D.R.,nicaragua,and honduras....

    Yeah I was suprised that I actually like the la floridita, it was my first strong cigar, I usually stick with lighter cigars, and I really enjoyed it, it had a good spicy taste imo.

    You are off to a great start. Stay around ask questions, search the threads there is a lot of info here. If you want to get a nice sampler for $10 look in this section for newbie sampler thread.
