I did what you asked and you still flame me? As far as reading the thread goes, the quote above is from the opening post. I took his reference to an 11 year old girl to mean family friendly.

In my family, we don't use the F word in front of 11 year olds, but to each it's own. Evidently it's fine to cuss all you want around here. Just trying to fit in.

Agreed. Exactly the same as if an 11 year old daughter walks past. She probably won't read fuck in size 12 font, but she sure as heck is going to see a picture of a semi-nude woman on the pc screen

The best bet would be for you to remove your avatar... no need to get into a pissing match with one of the established members over a picture. Basil is not a moderator and neither am I... but this is a self moderated forum and we are asking you to change your avatar. Guys who come here visit while they are at work and at home with their family members... it might be a little embarassing if someone had to explain to his boss or their daughter what the pic was.

As far as Basil's sigtag having the word "fuck" in it.... you are comparing apples to oranges... Pictures tend to catch peoples eye... That is why the most interesting pictures are placed on the covers of magazines in the supermarket.... to catch your attention....

I think that is what basil is trying to avoid.... your avatar catching the attention of people it is not supposed to.....
