    Default camping

Heading out to Salt Fork State Park tomorrow, planning on some fishing, boating, and a little golf. Gonna get to catch up on some smoking while I'm there also. Just hoping it doesn't rain too much while I'm there. Should be fun though.

Sounds like a ton of fun!
I miss camping in the Midwest. I haven't been camping since moving out West, not enough free time. Besides, you have to reserve camping areas out here like 6 months in advance. I hate it when you can't get more than 3 feet from the tent next to you, might as well stay in the city.

Hope you have fun, and if it rains...just smoke more.

That'd actually be worst than rain.

I hear it's nice out west and from what i've seen on the travel channel, it seems like camping out there would be real nice.

If you're willing to backpack to a remote location, then yes it's nice. Otherwise, you have to deal with the crowds.

I have not camped since I left Colorado. I love camping. I college, I would get 50 nights under the stars a year, at least. We would take out trucks and follow the most promising dirt road we found. Since I've come east, to DC, I have yet to get a night under the stars. It sucks. I'm looking forward to getting some camping in Maryland’s Eastern Shore in September and in the Shenandoah area in Virginia. Man, I sure do miss communing with nature.

I haven't camped since I became a soccerdad. I really miss it. From here, I go to NM, CO, and Big Bend. I have an awesome DanaDesigns pack and other stuff that's just waiting for her to graduate. Today are tryouts though . . .
