    Default Cusano 18

    First one I've tried.

Was a good looking smoke, not perfectly smooth but nice. Had a great burn, alot of smoke, and a great draw. At first I thought it started a bit spicy then mellowed back out to mildness. The flavor didn't really change much throughout the cigar, but it was a nice smoke. According to Cigarsinternational they say "This just in: Cigar Aficionado's Insider rates the Cusano 18 a stunning '91':
"This stout cigar has a shiny golden wrapper. It's full in body and has a rich, heavy smoke. Flavors are leathery and smoky with a note of creamy vanilla. It's well balanced, leading to a long, woody finish..."

I'm not sure about that 91 rating, and I didn't exactly detect what they detected in the smoke, but still, a nice smoke. Oh and "full in body" I'd have to say medium at the most, light medium, but mostly mild to strong mild.

nice review Same experience here. I was hoping for more, based on the reviews, but all in all a good cigar.

    Question same review here

One question , Was there a full page add for the Cusano 18 in the Cigar Aficionado that coincided with the Cigar Insider review score of 91 ?

No idea. If you just go to the cigarsinternational website and look up the cigar, they just give that info as a little extra review.

I had the Maduro. A good solid medium body. Spicy with a peppery bite. Not sweet at all. The flavor profile reminds me of many of the sun grown cigar varieties rather than a maduro. All in all, a good cigar. Great construction, great draw, and an attractive wrapper.
