    Default basement and cigars

Since I've moved my humi's into the basement, I've been able to take out the humidifiers since it keeps the humidity where I need it. But the basement isn't a "finished" basement so it of course has that musty basement smell. So here's the question, do you guys think that the cigars could start smelling like the basement?

They shouldn't start smelling like basement untill they start growing basement mold ;).

I say you should finish that basement and turn it into a proper smoking room.

my guess would be that the cigars would start smelling like it. some of my old clothes have that smell just from sitting in my parents' basement for a few weeks. keep them sealed up.
