    Default Pipe Tobacco in Humidor

Any problems doing that? I picked up a new pipe in London England and got some tobacco for it. I don't see any issues in keeping it fresh in my humidor. Any issues/suggestions?

    Cheers, Will

Is it english tobacco - meaning non-aromatic? if so, it should be fine. If it's aromatic I wouldn't. Just put it in a zip-lock.

I'd be a little wary to keep it in my humidor. A small tupperware container might be better. Or a glass jar like they use in shops.

Cool, thanks for the info. It is in my tupperdor right now, but I'll throw it in a smaller one with an old humidifier (since I use beads).

I make sure to never ever put pipe tobacco of any kind in my humidor. You can get glass jars that have the rubber seal on top then close. Those work great. Why take a chance with pipe tobacco in any humidor unless its a humidor only for that purpose.

Dude, I would LOOVE to but it is my Anniversary on Thursday and the little woman and I are heading off for a romantic getaway weekend. I will be bringing some cigars and smoking in the wicker chairs on the verandah of the place we are staying at so I will be there in spirit! Thanks for the invite though! Also, I am making some plans to head down that way again soon since my trip to South Africa was cancelled. I'll keep ya posted!

I'd recommend you get a Carlos Torano Virtuoso box - they make excellent mini humidors. Then get some of heartfelt industries humi beads and put your pipe tobacco in there with the beads. It works for me and it keeps my pipe tobacco nice and fresh.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.
