    Default Gurkha Expedition

This smoke looked and smelled great. The smoke had a great aroma! Unfortunately, it had a pretty tight draw. It was also a bit on the flavorless side. Very mild for such a dark brown cigar. Maybe the tight draw didn't let me get a good mouthful of smoke? Not bad, but nothing I'll be running to get again either.

I've always been hesitant to buy the Gurkha sticks. Too expensive for what they are.

I had someone buy me the sampler from CI ($9 for 10 cigars or whatever) and the Expedition was in there. The one I smoked had perfect draw with an abundance of smoke. I've since been trying to get some more on Cbid but to no avail.

I liked the flavor (which to my newbie palatte was a medium) and the toasty/nutty character of the smoke. It burned a bit uneven (but that could be my humidor skills) but very cool and long. It even left the room smelling pleasant enough that folks didnt complain.

Feel free to email me if you want to swap out a few... Hopefully I have something worthwhile

I wanted to say that my first experience with this cigar was bad. Subsequent Expedition smokes have been much better. One of my favorite mild cigars.

Exactly my experience with it. Minus the bad burn. Good stick, if you can get if for less them MSRP. Keep looking on CBid.

I had smoked a Gurkha before and was not impressed with it at all. While I was at the local shop the other day I thought I would give Gurkha a second chance so I grabbed a Vintage corona. It was ok. Needless to say, I won't try Gurkha again.
