Sealed Box Storage?

Hi all, I am new here and searched the forum but can't really find the answer I am looking for.

I have a humidor that is full of cigars and it works great.

Now I want to buy a box of 25 cigars but am wondering if I can leave them in the sealed box or should I take them out and place them in the humidor?

Can I store my sealed box of cigars for a long period of time? I don't want to open them just yet. Thanks so much!!!!

Welcome to CigarSmokers. A couple things depend on the answers to your questions...

If the sealed box if cigars have a humidipak in them, you can leave them in there for at least a couple months (the boxes will have a sticker if they have them - most Fuentes do).

If you have a larger (sealed) container like a cooler with a humidifcation unit that you can put the box of cigars in, you can leave the box in there indefinitely...

If you don't have a larger sealed container or if you don't have a humidipak in the box of cigars, you probably want to put it in the humidor.

Personally, I leave my cigars in the original boxes until I have 3-4 sticks left, in which I toss them into my desktop or a tupperware container in my coolidor.
