I get to meet Rocky Patel on August 18th.

Hey All, I get kind of an interesting opportunity on August 18th. Rocky Patel is flying in from the Honduras to Des Moines, IA for a "Night of Smoking with Rocky Patel". Ben from Cigar Source here in Des Moines has met and become friends with Rocky and invited him out here for a Smoke Out at a local bar / tavern... And reasonably priced too... $34.95 gets you a chance to meet, chat with Rocky himself (no stunt doubles), two vintage RP cigars, Hor'dourves (snacks as I call it in Iowa) and a full honduran style dinner. I am planning on getting some pictures to share with you all.

I guess Rocky is quite a nice and fun person to hang out with. He loves getting his picture taken with people and sign boxes of cigars. This is also his first time ever in Iowa.

I am excited, so I figured I would share my excitement with you all!

Sounds great . . . and yes he is a very nice guy. Other than the "Honduran dinner" I get the same opportunity at my local shop about 2 or 3 times per year. Best part is that the snacks, drinks, cigars and schmoozing with Rocky are free!

I've meet him 2 times at a Cigar Event and hung out with him 1 time in Honduras. He is definitely a blast. I will be going back to Honduras in October it looks like. He loves to smoke cigars, drink, and have a good time. Hope you have a blast.
