    Default Opus X Vs VSG

Both great cigars but I am curious which one will win this battle

Myself I like the flavor profile of VSG more

Opus X for me. I like the peppery spice.

VSG for me. Although I love the Opus X, it's spiciness (and rarity) makes it a once in a while smoke.

I prefer the sun-grown wrapper of the BOX PRESSED VSG

VSG. Only reason I am able to pick the VSG is because of the price. I can get the VSG for alot cheaper than an Opus and thats the tie breaker.

The VSG is a much better cigar.

I've smoked a handful of vsg robustos recently - very nice smoke. Limited availability on the opus - It's been awhile, so I'm going with the vsg.

Gonna have to say VSG simply b/c it's more available. Two different categories IMO.

Now have a poll on VSG versus a Padron 64... to me, that's a much more matched pair I'd love to see the outcome on.
Look at that... I plumb got myself 5 raisins and 7 termites.

I guess I should have been more informative in the question phrasing. I meant to ask which cigar do you like better ( enjoy more)

I know there is an avilability and price issues but I don't really see how are they realed to enjoyment perceptions.

Assume you were gifted both so price and availbality is not an issue

If you ever run across a round VSG buy it. These are rare cabinet unpressed versions
The older I get ,the better I was

I like em both and smoke about equal numbers of each.

I have yet to find the VSG's. Who are they made by or is VSG the manufacturer?

I keep hearing about them and wish to buy some locally.

Ahh...Man I feel like an idiot. I see those all the time. For some reason I kept thinking the VSG was one of those ultra rare models.

I will pick some of those up ASAP. I am really starting to like the sun grown wrappers.

The VSG is my all time favorite cigar NC-wise.I love Opus x now, more and more as I smoke more but I still love the VSG.I even like the VSG better than the ESG.The belicoso #1,wizard,sorceror,and corona gorda are my favorites.

I had a couple of the Enchantments, they were really good. I love figurados. The guy at the store let me keep the empty box too, it's neat lookin'.

I have had only 1 Opus to compare those to, and the VSG was better.

Love the VSGs. I have not smoked enough Opus to really vote either way. All of mine are "aging".
