Canadian (Ontario) Anti-Smoking Laws

I'm sure all of you are quite aware of the move by the Bleeding Hearts to outlaw smoking completely. In Ontario, the Government has taken it one step further and have tried to outlaw signs advertising what's for sale inside "certain" stores. No signs or posters advertising pipes and tobacco, cigarettes or cigars. The store owners have banded together to bring a class action suit against the government and it's asinine (sic) laws.

Wow, I didnt know Canada was that harsh on smoking. Thats worse than california.

Since when does the minority of people get to choose what we get to do? Some people dont like smoking, so alot of others dont get to? Some people dont like what they might hear or see on TV and radio, and alot of us dont get to hear it.

I know thats from Canada, but the US is getting horrible about this stuff. Instead of worrying about offending a few people, why dont we let the majority do what they want and say sorry to the minority. Isnt that what most goverments are about? Voting, and the majority wins? I just dont get it anymore.

I don't smoke cigarettes, hate when people smoke in restaurants while I am eating, and hate smoky bars but absolutely hate people who go over the top and dictate other people's lives for them. Whatever happened to free will.

Since when does the minority of people get to choose what we get to do?

Since they use scare tactics, brainwash the uninformed and ignorant masses, and since they have nothing better to do, while the majority goes about its day to day life of working, keeping the economy going and providing a safe, industrious place to live for these bags! Its sad that the concerned few make sweeping changes that affect the rest just because they feel inconvenienced, or infringed upon in some way. I say if you want to take other people's liberties away go to North Korea of some other hole of a dictatorship.
