Default Hello my name is Anthony and I'm a ...

...cigaraholic. I've smoked a cigar here and there the last 4 or 5 years. But until last month I had never owned my own humidor or purchased more than 1 cigar at a time.

Someone should have told me this was this addicting! Well here it is 5 weeks after placing my first purchase and I'm up to well over 150 cigars, 2 20 count humi's and 1 100 count humi.

    A little bit about myself...

I've lived in Saint Louis, MO now for almost 2 years and have lived in the Midwest my entire life. I've worked in IT for the last 10 years and nothing is better than coming home after a hard day of working on servers to a nice cigar.

Short list of some of my favorites so far...

    CAO MX2
    5 Vegas Series "A" Artisan
Indian Taba Anniversary Limited Reserve Toro
Reserva Maxima Robusto Maduro by Puros Indios
    Gurkha Glass Regent Robusto
    CAO Criollo Pato
Gurkha Legend 8 Years Aged Robusto

I didn't care for 5 Vegas Gold, and I liked the 5 Vega Limitada '06 Belicoso but it was just a bit too peppery for me, maybe some aging would help fix that.

I'm a fan of the medium to full bodied smokes, any recommendations of something I just must try?? I'd like to keep the price to under $8 stick. Well at least for now, lol

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of what looks like a great community here.

Welcome to the community, good intro!!
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

Welcome to the boards. You might want to try some of the Fuentes out there, you might like the Short Story. Also you might want to try Perdomo 2 (squared). I haven't tried one, but I've read some good things about it. Also Carlos Torano makes some good cigars, in particular Casa Torano.

Welcome to the forum! I've been trying to admit that I am powerless over cigars for some time now... If I could just make it through step one....

As far as medium to full bodied smokes, I highly recommend the Carlos Torano Virtuoso and Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 lines. Torano actually makes many of the Gurkha cigars. A few people have commented that many of the blends are similar and Torano's are much better priced.

Im gonna agree with Hex and say try the Carlos Torano 1959 Exodus, awesome smoke.

Also the Fuente lines are awesome, especially the Hemingway.
