I just replied to a 3rd PM/EM asking me who is the guy in my Avatar. Even better, asking if it was me? Sad thing is 2 of the 3 inquiries were from folks older than myself.

Who here remembers the late great Bob Ross? He was one cool Mofo, IMHO!

I couldnt remember his name but I knew he was the dude who painted on public TV. Actually he was very cool and quite a painter . When I saw the new avatar I knew it and said "hey thats the painter dude"

I knew this guy looked familiar although I only saw an older version of him so could not really connect it.

I remember watching him paint the same friggin picture every day. Well, possibly not everyday but I remember them all being similar.

Possibly reruns as I am only 26 years old.

Yeap, I remember seeing him on TV. You know that dude had to be stoned out of his mind. He was always so mellow and happy. He was a badass painter though.

Lots of Tshirts of him at Target. I think it has the words "Happy Trees" underneath him next to the easel.

His name is Bob Ross and he has a line of oil paints and brushes. He is a retired marine drill sargent if you can believe what he used to say on his show. His paintings did get a little monotonous but man could he crank them out fast.

I remember him and I do have the shirt. He was stuck in the 70's but he was one badass painter. He would mix a couple colors and then say "lets make some mountains" and brush one stroke and low and behold, a mountain range shaded with trees and snow! WTF!!!
