Chat night

Some boards have a night where everyone ends up in the chat room for an hour. Would anyone here want to schedule a night that everyone meets to do the chat room. It could be very informal or some nights it could be like a discussion on a specific topic.

Now that summer is almost over and golf and biking and yardwork and .... (well, you get the idea) things will be slowing down and I'll have more time to sit and chat with pals and friends.

I am thinking maybe on a Sun Mon or Thur? Should we have a pole? Think about TV programs that everyone watches and stay away form those days.

Everyweek is different for me so I can't give a preference to a certain night every week.

I'd prefer around 9pm eastern time, as i need to get up early. Though, i dont expect that I'd be able to hop on a chat as much as most other people.

To mix things up, why don't we have a different night each month? That way more people could participate, and maybe we could get some of the asshats who've been banned to try and rejoin so we could own their ass again

What we could do is a five week trial run. Having Chat night (need a better name) beginning on a Sunday and ending on a Thursday alternating between 9 and 10 just to get a feel of the response, then we can run a poll

) Which may end in doing it just like that all the time, or doing it that way may just be too hard for you guys to remember. My gut feeling is alternating chat night between two days and two times is most likely the best way. I am thinking we would begin next Sunday at 9 PM Eastern time. In addition if you want to be there at 9 on Sunday but you can not because you have a commitment that you normally would not have pm me so I can count you as potential person for Sunday.

Since no one objected lets give the 5 week alternating nights and times trial "Chat night" a go. Sunday the 10th of Sept at 9PM Eastern time will be the first night. I will be baking cookies and making coffee so swing bye! I hope to see some of the old timers, CC, GG BC Basil GF BPP and some of the wounderful new guys and gal!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday the 10th of Sept: Between 9:00-10:30pm eastern time there were at any given time 19 guest on the board and 11 regular members. 4 members showed up in the chat room. It was great to catch up and I learned the difference between a hooker and a hookah! The next official night will be Monday the 18th at 10 eastern time.

Hi Just a reminder that tonight at 10 pm Eastern time is the next official night of Chat Night. I know I am still fighting football and tonight begins the new season of shows on TV. Hope to see some of you here!
