He surely will be missed. I think it is sad, and ironic, that he passed, just before he could see all the great reviews and articles his new stuff got, in the various publications. It was like they all decided to have a 'Stanford Newman' month.....and he never got to see it....

On Friday, August 18, 2006, in honor of Mr. Newman's life and love of cigars, I smoked one of his Cuesta Rey Stanford's Cameroon Reserve cigars. I have to say - Mr. Newman touched the cigar community with his passion and love of the leaf. That was very obvious in that one single cigar.

Thank you, Mr. Newman - you will be missed. Rest in Peace
