You could have us all over and still have a huge collection. I wonder how much a plane ticket to Salt Lake City costs...

    Default Daddy Likes Maduros

Here are some shots of my little world... Also wanted to show off my prized stash of Santa Clara 1830s. Very hard to get them in the states. I really think Mexican smokes get a bad rap. They have been really putting out some good stuff with in the last few years.

    Hope you enjoy the photos.

SLCraiders, your stash is amazing. Not only are there some awesome smokes that I love, but I see a Puro Cheif, a LFD Culebra, and some Zinos (which never get the credit they deserve).

So i went hunting for a cigar this morning and had to play cooler tetris again. After everything went back in I figured I'd snap a picture (don't mind the low quality, its from my phone).

I was gonna post a few pics of my stash but slcraiders' puts mine to shame.

First off...Very Nice Humidor... Also Dig The Zak figure!!! One thing I noticed, you may want to mount your Hydrometer on your lid or place it somewhere inside where air can pass into and out of it. But if your leveals are cool , then forget what I just said. Just thought I would give my input... Good luck on building that collection.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't show in the picture, but under the lid is another 2 humidification devices and the hygrometer. My levels are really good. One of the devices keeps falling off the lid though

    Default Idea

Just a "Tid Bit" of info on the stuff always falling off the lid. You can use some vapor free glue to hold the items in place. Crazy glue works pretty good. Worked for me...

    Anyone have any other ideas?

Don't know how it does depending on humidity levels, but try that sticky-tack stuff. That should hold it. Or Velcro tape.

This is probably a dumb newbie question: Isnt it best to store cigars in a humidor out of their wrappers? I noticed in many of these pics that folks left the cigars in wrappers. I am curious because Ill be getting some cigars and a humi in a few days.

    Hotly debated topic... i guess

I prefer to leave the cello on, makes very little difference to humidity, since the cello is micro-porous. Also, cello provides protection for the wrapper. Shuffling a bunch of nude sticks around can easily ruin a nice cigar. There's also the hygien factor.... not that we know what nostril that torcedore's finger was in right before he rolled your cigars, but I sure feel better buying singles at the B&M when they're wrapped.

Yep, personal preference. I opt to leave those that come in cello....in cello, mostly for the damage protection.
