That looks nice. How many do you think it will hold? I have a hard time keeping my 100 count full.

I think it's listed at 500. Haven't made it that far yet.

I like that. It's functional, and holds cigars too! My wife got me a 500 count two years back and I have the same issue.....imagine that! LOL

I looked at two of my wife's units. One is more expensive and more well made and might just seal nicely without having to do anything extra to it. The other less expensive and less well made one would require a whole lot of work to make it seal. I'm going to keep my eyes open for a cabinet that needs refinishing. If my wife doesn't want it, I may take a crack at restoring and converting it.

I'm still noobish at this. The first cigars I tried were Iguanas, but the humidor is roomy. I got some samplers coming in. I guess I need to get proper humidifying elements but I'm using distilled water for now.

Was that humidor once filled with Iguana's? If so, is there any residual stench from them? As for humidification, search for beads....imo, the only way to go for desktops like that.

Thanks for the tip on beads. Yes, it came with Iguanas but they were wrapped in cellophane. That was about a year ago and it just has a good cedar smell now. Looking at the pictures here, I feel I want a nicer humidor. I like that coffee table of Stealth. One day...

I would suggest looking into a coolerdor. More cost effective for the cigar capacity, imo. Of course, if you're after bling, it ain't the way to go.

It's called a "shaggy foot" La Palina is a notable example as far as premium sticks go.

To be fair, that term didn't come out until late 2006, so it's not his fault he didn't know the term...

I don't think partylover even remembers this forum, let alone the post, but here's the rest of the drawers, that smogdude screwed up quoting.

Decided to clean out and reorganize my crap tonight. Snapped some pictures along the way.
