Thread: Cohiba Siglo IV

    Default Cohiba Siglo IV

I had previously smoked a Siglo IV some time ago and I was not so impressed. It was really good, but not great as I expected. Recently I decided to revisit the IV and, WOW. The cigar was from a 2005 box code. Plume was present. The cigar started out in the distinctive Cohiba grassy cream. Within the first third, the flavor really came through in a way that was totally unexpected. It was sort of a cherry, peppery flavor. I've never tasted cherry before in a cigar and was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoy spicy cigars and this first wave of flavor was awesome. In the next third, the cigar carried the cherry profile but the pepper changed to spice, and a woody characted developed. One of the best cigars I've smoked. Highly recommended.
