Default Brewdude checking in here at CS

Hello. I am the Brewdude. I'm the head brewer at a WA state microbrewery and love beer, Whisky, cigars, and music. Looking forward to hangin' with you folks here at CS, looks like you got a nice board.

I'm a regular on a couple other cigar bbs, and recognize some of the handles here. I was invited by bigpoppa so here I am!

    More later........

Cool -- Another brewer. I'm the head (well, only) brewer at a small brewpub in Key West.

Is everyone up there going ballistic over the hops fire?

(For those of you who don't follow beer making, four percent of America's hop projection went up in flames this month.)

The fire affected storage facilities at SS Steiner. I buy from HopUnion and Yakima Chief, who supply the craft brewers like ourselves. I don't see this as being significant to the small brewer. What is your brewpub? Here's my operation-

True, but I figured hop prices would rise as the "big boys" look for other venues for their hops. 4% is commercially significant.

Here's the brewpub -- currently closed for renovations. We'll be open by season I'm sure.

EDIT -- I just checked the link and discovered that someone has updated our website. That someone is obviously gay -- you'll see when you click the link. NOT ONE PICTURE OF BEER, ME OR THE BREWERY. But a nice pic of a fruity girl drink. Sheesh!

Key West, ay? That's only like an 8 hour drive... or couple hours by small commuter plane... hmmmmmm.

    Welcome to the board BrewDude.

Miller Lite or Bud Lite??? There is no "other" option or a choice for neither.

God... I feel mean asking that... it'd be like asking anyone here if they'd take Swisher Sweets or Black and Milds.
