Tatuaje - 12/12 Bruddah Smoke
I don't know if it was the 52f Indianapolis weather in the middle of December, or the good discussion I had with my teenage sons just before my smoke, or what, but this cigar was DAMN GOOD. It was my first Tatuaje (the permanent ones on my arms not withstanding) and I loved every minute of it!
I am generally unable to discern any particular flavors from a cigar (I just know whether I am enjoying it or not), but I swear this cigar was a little nutty when I first lit it up. Then I started thinking about it and lost it! Nice even burn, plenty of smoke and the ash held firm almost halfway down the stick. I smoked the damn thing until there was nothing left to hold onto and my fingers started getting a little hot. I waited until I was 10 minutes or so into it before I took my first sip of coffee.
The cool night air, very light breeze and the time alone to reflect all made for a great smoke. I am definitely going to have to find more of these to keep on hand. I know I don't have enough details about the particular stick in this review, so please accept the humble apologies of a newbie for that shortcoming.
SLC, thanks for introducing me to this great smoke! Hefty, lemme know how yours goes when you are able to take the time to enjoy the smoke.
